Dorchester Canopies was created by combining two respected businesses with a shared commitment to quality, engineering, and craftsmanship.
The company was formed through the spin-off of The Dorchester Awning Company’s structural canopies division, building on more than 125 years of manufacturing excellence. At the same time, Dorchester Canopies acquired the Commercial Canopy and Stationary Business of KE Outdoor Design, adding more than 40 years of specialized structural canopy expertise.

Today, the combined company offers a complete portfolio of engineered hanger-rod aluminum canopies, standing seam awnings, shutters, sail shades, and custom structural and fabric-based awning systems for commercial and residential applications through direct sales and an established dealer network.
